Golfers Insurance

Cover for your clubs, your caddy and the round that goes wrong.

Golfers Insurance

Overview

AAR Golfers Insurance is a package cover for club members. It protects your equipment and personal effects, pays out if you are injured on the course, covers the caddy in your service, meets what you become legally liable to pay if you injure someone or damage their property, and contributes to the celebration if you sink a hole in one.

A stray drive can be expensive. A ball that injures another player or breaks a clubhouse window makes you personally liable, and a stolen set of clubs is rarely cheap to replace. This cover puts all of it behind one annual premium.

Choose one of four options — or one of two Golf for Kids options for a young golfer under 18 — complete the short application online, pay securely and receive your policy. Every price shown includes all levies.

Cover options

Four options to choose from

Option A through Option D, each a complete package with its own cover limits and one annual price. Option A starts at KES 2,013 a year and Option D gives the highest limits at KES 6,500. Every price includes all levies, so what you see is what you pay.

Golf for Kids

A young golfer aged 5 to 17 is covered under Golf for Kids, with two options of its own. The policy is in the child’s name and we capture the parent’s or guardian’s details alongside it.

Your caddy is covered too

Every option includes cover for the caddy or ball boy in your service on the course — accidental death, total permanent disability and medical expenses.

Yes, on the equipment and personal effects sections only. It is KES 2,000 on Options A and B, KES 2,500 on Option C and KES 3,000 on Option D. It is not charged when you buy — it is the amount you bear yourself on a claim.

It is optional, but worth doing. If you do not provide a list, a single piece of equipment or personal effects is limited to KES 15,000 at claim time. You can add your items during the online application.
